EarthS???

How many earths are out there? If there are multiple can there exist other life forms on them?

People have been asking these questions for thousands of years, but now some evidence has been shown that there might actually be other earths. Scientists have been studying this for many years and have concluded that in our galaxy there actually is billions of other earth like planets that each have a sun like ours. These earth like planets might actually have water and an atmosphere, which would support life. These billions of other earths could have intelligent life forms. Scientists actually suggest that there has been many civilizations before ours and that all these earths might have civilizations now.

But the question that many people ask is, how come we haven’t seen any aliens then? Well I think that’s a stupid question because the closest star to our solar system is 4.37 light years away, which in the speeds that we can travel at, it could take thousands, even millions of years to reach it. So if we can’t, why could other life forms be able to come so close to our planet if it would take so long to get here, and it’s impossible for something to move at the speed of light, so it would take a long time to get here. The earth like planets are a lot further than the closest sun so im not surprised that any aliens haven’t come to see us, because we haven’t gone anywhere to see other aliens, so how would they be able to if we couldn’t. But hopefully one day we'll know the truth and see if there actually is life on other earth like planets, and maybe in the future we could migrate to one if our becomes to inhabitable by pollution.

  1. There as to be other planets like our own and other forms of life. It's just ignorant to not believe there would be a possibility of at least one other planet. I just don't think there needs to be a sun or water or even an earthlike atmosphere for other life, that's just looking for our own. If there are other forms they would be noting like us at all. At least i doubt they would. It's just pretty amazing to think about it and if they were similar to us or the same or 90% different just the possibilities. Endless.

  2. Technically there is only one Earth because Earth is not the status of a planet, its a name. For example, the Sun is a star. Sun is its name, so there are not multiple Suns, there are multiple stars. Perhaps aliens have come and visited earth, but if they did our government would probably try to "keep us under control" and hide all the evidence. I think that the only way we will be able to truly navigate space is if we find a new energy source. Space probably contains many wonderful and interesting things.
